Sherpa Devinas Cycling TourWe will meet outside Leopold Cafe and start off from Colaba, cycle by the Gateway of India and then move on to the British era Fort area, gaze at the old monuments and buildings, and wait, too much to cycle away at one go? We shall take a quick break and sit on the stairs of Asiatic Library wherein I shall give you a brief history about the Asiatic Society and nearby locality. Once we’re done discussing the same, we shall whisk away and take a round at Horniman Circle and gorge on the amazing Mawa Cake, Bun Maska and Chai at Yazdani, a real old Iranian Cafe.

From there we shall venture into the Crawford market, a world of its own, and you will land up marveling at the huge market and might just buy some fresh fruits in the morning. The last journey shall be toward Marine drive and cycle along the sea side till we reach Nariman Point. Ill finally take you around National Centre for the Performing Arts, cycling towards Colaba through the Electric house and thus end our journey from where we begun!

Sherpa Rohan took out the gang to Discover Delhi 6 this weekend. What’s the tour about? The aim of this tour is to give you a one of a kind whirlwind view of Delhi’s heart and soul – Delhi 6! We will meet outside Haldirams Sweets in Chandni Chowk & move towards Town Hall.

Here I’ll tell you about Town Hall’s history and current status. Moreover, your will also get to know the history and interesting details about the whole Chandni Chowk market, the sellers, the merchandise, the food, and all that comes to mind! Next, we enter Ballimaran, a huge wholesales market full of shoes & opticals mainly, where we will see

Then, through Chawri Bazaar (talking about the largest in the country wholesale markets there), we will enter the beautiful Jama Masjid. We will discuss about its history, architecture and other details. We will also climb up the minaret and get a splendid 360 degree view of the city. It’s an awesome place to get pictures! Lastly, we will enjoy the Mughlai delicacies around Jama Masjid. Kebabs, Biryani, Nahari, Stew, Qorma, etc. We’ll try some interesting sweet dishes as well like Shahi Tukda, Moong Dal ka halwa, phirni, Gond ka halwa. If someone is a vegetarian, we can have traditional snacks like chaat, golgappe, tikki, etc. also and this is where we will conclude our tour!

Sherpa Snigdha is back!
