Ever thought you’d get up at 7AM and go cycling through the streets of South Bombay on a hunt for history with some mystery mixed with a dash of cyclicity?
Sherpa Devina does just that! The aim of this guided tour is to help you discover our city on cycles! The activity will start at 7 AM, don’t be scared!
We will meet outside Leopold Cafe and start off from Colaba, cycle by the Gateway of India and then move on to the British era Fort area, gaze at the old monuments and buildings, and wait, too much to cycle away at one go? We shall take a quick break and sit on the stairs of Asiatic Library wherein I shall give you a brief history about the Asiatic Society and nearby locality. Once we’re done discussing the same, we shall whisk away and take a round at Horniman Circle and gorge on the amazing Mawa Cake, Bun Maska and Chai at Yazdani, a real old Iranian Cafe.
From there we shall venture into the Crawford market, a world of its own, and you will land up marveling at the huge market and might just buy some fresh fruits in the morning. The last journey shall be toward Marine drive and cycle along the sea side till we reach Nariman Point. Ill finally take you around National Centre for the Performing Arts, cycling towards Colaba through the Electric house and thus end our journey from where we begun!
